The wait for the election of the national president of BJP is increasing within the party. It is believed that it will take a fortnight. Discussions have started between the top leadership of BJP and RSS regarding the new national president as well as changes in the BJP organization.
This week, all the senior leaders including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale will be in Delhi. It is believed that during this time the discussions at the top level will be completed.
According to high-ranking sources in the BJP, the process of electing the national president of the BJP will formally begin as soon as the elections of state presidents in five-six states are completed.
There is a plan to complete the election of presidents in some states including Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Jharkhand this week. Along with this, the discussions between RSS and BJP on the name of the new president will also be completed.
