USAWind Advisory Issued for Western Washington on Saturday

SEATTLE, Wash. — A Wind Advisory has been issued for much of Western Washington from Saturday morning through early afternoon, according to KIRO 7 meteorologist Morgan Palmer.

While not expected to be as severe as last weekend’s wind event, gusts of over 40 mph could still cause minor tree damage and isolated power outages across the region. Areas including Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, Olympia, and the Olympic Peninsula are under the advisory.

Residents are urged to secure outdoor items, stay alert for falling branches, and prepare for possible short-term power disruptions.

More updates and detailed forecasts will be available on KIRO 7 News and KIRO7Seattle.com.
