The City of Kent has announced a temporary water shutoff at West Fenwick Park as crews work to locate and repair a water leak.
According to Kent Parks, Recreation & Community Services, all water service at the park is currently unavailable. This includes restrooms, drinking fountains, and other water-related facilities, which will remain closed during the outage.
Officials say maintenance teams are actively investigating the source of the leak and working to resolve the issue. The repair process is expected to take multiple days.
In the meantime, portable restrooms (sani-cans) have been placed at the park for public use.
City officials are asking visitors for patience as crews work to restore full service as quickly as possible.
