The Bellevue Police Department has announced further arrests in an ongoing investigation into a large-scale criminal organization accused of targeting older community members across the region.
On April 10, 2026, Bellevue Police SWAT and Special Enforcement Team (SET) executed a residential warrant in the 13000 block of 105th Place NE in Kirkland. Three suspects—Simona Paun (41), Maria Alexandra (25), and Ion Miclescu (21)—were taken into custody without incident.
Authorities confirmed that Alexandra was wanted as a fugitive from Oregon for first-degree theft, while Paun faced charges linked to multiple robberies in San Diego, California. Miclescu was arrested in connection with a second-degree robbery case being investigated by the Lynnwood Police Department.
Following the arrests, detectives conducted a search of the residence and uncovered key evidence, including clothing believed to have been used during various crimes across the region, including in Bellevue.
Paun had previously been arrested on April 8 but was released on bail before being re-arrested and booked into the King County Jail on April 10 with bail set at $350,000. Alexandra was also booked into jail but later released on $10,000 bail on April 12. Miclescu was transferred to Lynnwood authorities for further proceedings.
Police say the investigation remains active and are urging residents—particularly older community members—to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity. Authorities emphasized the importance of calling 911 if a theft or suspicious incident occurs, as public information could play a crucial role in the case.
