Renton Police Department to Host Career Workshop for Aspiring Officers

USARenton Police Department to Host Career Workshop for Aspiring Officers

The Renton Police Department is inviting community members interested in law enforcement careers to attend a special Career Workshop on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Renton City Hall.

The hands-on workshop is designed to help participants learn what it takes to become a Renton Police Officer. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with officers, explore specialized police units, and gain valuable insight into the department’s hiring process, application procedures, and training requirements.

The event will run from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with check-in beginning at 8:00 AM. Officials say registration is required as space is limited.

The Renton Police Department encourages anyone considering a career in public safety to take advantage of the workshop and hear directly from officers serving in the community.
