Seattle police detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday evening in the 12000 block of 40th Avenue NE in the Lake City neighborhood.
According to authorities, neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots shortly after 8:00 p.m. and discovered a man lying in the street. Medics from the Seattle Fire Department responded quickly and attempted life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Police are urging anyone with information related to the shooting to contact the tip line at 206-233-5000.
