Will there be another coup in Bangladesh? Army chief’s meetings caused a stir

INTERNATIONALWill there be another coup in Bangladesh? Army chief's meetings caused a stir

After the recent developments in the neighboring country Bangladesh, the deployment of military personnel and security forces has been increased across the country. Especially due to the deployment of military personnel in the country’s capital Dhaka, rumors of coup in Bangladesh are dominating the social media.

However, there has been no response from interim government chief Professor Mohammad Yunus and Army Chief Waqar-uz-Zaman on this rapidly spreading rumour. Army Chief Waqar-uz-Zaman is believed to be at the centre of these alleged developments. This is because Bangladesh’s interim leader Muhammad Yunus is facing constant opposition.

The reports of army meetings in the neighboring country have further strengthened these speculations. It is believed that the army chief does not have enough information about the political situation in the country. It is being said that the army chief has also warned against terrorist attacks in the country.
