US President Donald Trump spoke on the phone with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Friday. Trump said that he would meet Carney after the elections in Canada are over. However, the Canadian PM has not confirmed this.
This conversation has taken place at a time when relations between Canada and America have reached their worst point. Carney has announced to free Canada’s economy from dependence on America. Trump had announced to impose 25% tariff on foreign cars last week.
