European countries are now providing more aid to Ukraine in the long-running war between Ukraine and Russia. Britain announced on Friday that it would provide Ukraine with military aid worth 450 million pounds (about 580 million dollars).
Britain has announced new military aid of 450 million pounds to Ukraine, including 350 million pounds from its annual aid package. This aid will be used to repair radar systems, drones, anti-tank mines and equipment. Norway will also cooperate.
This move has been taken to increase pressure on Russia and put Ukraine in a stronger position ahead of any possible peace agreement.
