Strong earthquakes were felt in many countries of the world on Saturday. Tremors were felt in five countries from morning to afternoon. Earthquakes of magnitude ranging from 4.0 to 6.5 on Richter scale occurred in India, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Tonga and Papua New Guinea.
Earthquake tremors were felt in Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Due to the earthquake, people came out of their homes in fear. However, there is no report of any loss of life or property.
Tremors of the earthquake were also felt in India’s neighboring countries Pakistan and Tajikistan. The ground shook due to the earthquake in the northwestern region of Pakistan, but there is no news of any major damage.
