Violent protests are being seen against the Waqf law in many districts of West Bengal. On Friday, violence broke out during the protest against the Waqf Amendment Act in the Muslim-dominated Murshidabad district. Three people have died in this violence.
According to the information, the blood-soaked bodies of a father and son were recovered from a house in Shamsherganj of the district. There are marks of wounds on many parts of their bodies. Meanwhile, this teenager died after being shot in Suti.
110 people were arrested in connection with the violence that broke out in Murshidabad. Police gave this information on Saturday. During the violence on Friday, several vehicles including a police van were set on fire. Security forces were pelted with stones and roads were blocked.More than 15 policemen and many people were injured in the violence.
