Kangana Ranaut, BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, on Monday said that former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru was jealous of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Kangana was speaking at an event on Ambedkar Jayanti in Mandi.
He said that if anyone has really respected Baba Saheb, it is the Bharatiya Janata Party. Congress has insulted him. Kangana said that Congress makes false promises and misleads people. Their deeds are black. Now they have adopted a new method.
These people use the Constitution book for show-off. They bring up the name of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and use his name only for vote bank politics. Kangana did not stop here, she further accused former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. She said that Baba Saheb Ambedkar was insulted and then he was forced to resign from the cabinet because Nehru was jealous of Ambedkar’s understanding and intelligence.
