US Vice President JD Vance is coming to India tomorrow on a four-day visit. During this visit, he will have a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, the Congress raised the question whether the PM will present India’s concerns to him before the deportation of Indian citizens from American soil and the destruction of the multilateral trade system
Congress also asked whether the PM will discuss the concerns of Indian students. Along with many questions, Congress spokesperson Jairam Ramesh asked whether the Prime Minister will express India’s concerns over the US withdrawal from the Paris Agreement and the World Health Organization.
Jairam Ramesh asked in a social media post whether the PM would also clarify that America’s withdrawal from the 2015 Paris Climate Change Deal could threaten the livelihood of millions of people in India.
