Now if Haryana Roadways drivers-conductors, checking staff or employees posted at bus stands and workshops are found without uniform, departmental action will be taken against them.
Transport Minister Anil Vij has issued orders to take action against roadways employees who are behaving arbitrarily despite repeated orders to wear uniforms. Roadways employees who receive uniform allowance will have to wear uniform under all circumstances.
In a letter to all the General Managers and the Flying Squad Officer of ISBT Delhi, the Transport Director has said that it has come to the notice of Transport Minister Anil Vij that roadways employees, who are required to remain in uniform during duty, are generally not in uniform during duty. Instructions have been issued from time to time by the headquarters in this regard, but complaints are still being received about employees being without uniform.
