A few days ago, Elon Musk parted ways with Donald Trump’s government and will now focus only on his company. After this, US President Donald Trump took a shocking decision, under which tech billionaire Jared Isaacman is no longer under consideration for the post of NASA chief.
On Saturday, the White House announced that President Donald Trump will soon announce a new candidate for the leadership of NASA. However, no official reason has been given behind withdrawing Jared’s nomination. But the move comes just before the Senate is set to vote on Isaacman’s nomination.
“NASA’s next leader must be someone who is fully aligned with President Trump’s America First policy,” White House spokeswoman Liz Houston said, adding that President Trump would announce a new nominee soon.
Let us tell you, Isaacman was nominated to head NASA in December 2024. The appointment of Isaacman, who comes from the private sector, was seen with surprise in the space community.
