Seattle, WA – September 24, 2025 – Detectives with the Seattle Police Department are investigating a deadly shooting in the Chinatown International District that left one man dead and another seriously injured Tuesday night.
The shooting occurred shortly after 9:40 p.m. near 12th Avenue South and South Lane Street.
One Dead, One Hospitalized
When officers arrived, they discovered an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately administered aid until the Seattle Fire Department (SFD) took over. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A second victim, also an adult male, was found with a gunshot wound to the leg. SFD provided medical assistance, and he was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Investigation Underway
Detectives from the Homicide Unit responded to the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
