USARenton Police Release Sketch in Search for Serial Rape Suspect

Renton, WA — The Renton Police Department has released a facial sketch of a suspect believed to be responsible for a violent sexual assault and possibly connected to an earlier unsolved case.

According to police, the unidentified individual is accused of raping a 12-year-old child in the city in 2023. Investigators say the suspect may also be linked to a similar crime from 2009, raising concerns that the individual could be a repeat offender within the community.

Authorities describe the suspect only through the released composite sketch and have not disclosed further identifying details at this time. The suspect remains at large and unidentified.

Renton Police are urging community members to carefully review the sketch and report any information that could help investigators determine the suspect’s identity. Officials emphasized that even small tips could be crucial.

“If you know something, say something,” police said in their statement, encouraging residents to come forward using the reporting options listed in the department’s official post.

Law enforcement stressed the importance of public cooperation in keeping the community safe and preventing further harm.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Renton Police Department immediately through their official tip channels.
