A 28-year-old woman was arrested and jailed after allegedly assaulting two Washington State Patrol troopers and a Seattle police officer during a disturbance-related investigation in Tukwila, Washington.
According to police, the incident occurred on December 22 at approximately 5:45 p.m., when patrol officers responded to the 10805 block of Pacific Highway South. Officers were assisting Washington State Patrol (WSP) troopers who were investigating a traffic collision connected to an earlier domestic disturbance in Seattle.
While troopers were conducting their investigation, the woman reportedly became aggressive toward another individual involved in the incident. To prevent further escalation, WSP troopers detained her in handcuffs. As officers attempted to place her into the back of a patrol vehicle, police say she kicked and struck both troopers.
A Seattle police sergeant later arrived on scene for administrative purposes. During that interaction, the suspect allegedly spit on the officer, resulting in additional charges.
Seattle police took the woman into custody and booked her into the King County Jail on three counts of assault. No serious injuries were reported.
The case has been assigned to detectives with the Homicide and Assault Unit for further investigation.
