Seattle, WA — Seattle police arrested a 25-year-old woman after she fled from officers in Belltown yesterday afternoon and was found in possession of Fentanyl and other drug-related items.

The incident occurred on Jan. 1 just before 1:00 p.m., when an SPD officer spotted a Mercedes without license plates near Republican Street and Queen Anne Avenue North. Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the driver fled at a high rate of speed, violating multiple traffic laws.

Police later located the vehicle near 4th Avenue and Battery Street. The driver and a male passenger exited the car and began walking away, prompting officers to order the woman to stop. She attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended.

Authorities discovered that the woman had an “armed and dangerous” caution on file, along with two felony arrest warrants totaling $30,000:

  • $15,000 for Dangerous Drugs, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Escape, and Theft

  • $15,000 for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

During her arrest, police seized:

  • 1.3 grams of Fentanyl

  • Digital scale and baggies

  • Drug paraphernalia

  • $116 in cash

  • Mercedes car key

The woman was booked into King County Jail for Eluding, and officers requested additional criminal charges for Obstruction and narcotics possession. The male passenger was detained for questioning but later released.

The Seattle Police Department is investigating the case under Incident Number: 2026-485.
