Drivers in Kent should prepare for temporary traffic impacts on Sunday, March 22, 2026, as eastbound lane restrictions are planned on W Smith Street between 2nd Avenue North and Railroad Avenue North.
The restrictions will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. while crews carry out tree removal work in the area. Traffic control will be on site to help direct vehicles safely through the work zone.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down, watch for crews, and allow extra travel time if driving through the area during the scheduled work hours.
