A major plane crash occurred in Gujarat on Thursday. There were 242 people on board the plane. BSF and NDRF teams have been dispatched to the accident site. The crashed plane is said to be Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner, which was 11 years old. All the people died in this plane crash. The plane took off from Sardar Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, but could not even cross the boundary of the airport and met with an accident.
Tata Group has announced that financial assistance of Rs 1 crore will be given to the family of each person who lost his life in the accident. According to Health Principal Secretary Shri Dhananjay Dwivedi, Ahmedabad Civil Hospital has made arrangements to take DNA samples of the relatives of those killed in the Ahmedabad plane crash to identify them. 50 injured are being treated at the Civil Hospital.
