Kent, WA — October 10, 2025:
Drivers in Kent should plan for potential delays today as alternating lane closures are scheduled on 100th Avenue SE and SE 238th Place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
According to the City of Kent Public Works Department, the temporary closures are necessary for sewer line cleaning and maintenance. Traffic control will be in place throughout the duration of the work to help manage vehicle flow and ensure safety for both crews and drivers.
The project is being managed by Consor Construction, with Construction Manager Matt Fernando overseeing operations. Motorists with questions can contact Fernando directly at 253-306-3667.
Drivers are encouraged to use DriveKent.com, King County My Commute, or WSDOT Travel Alerts to monitor traffic conditions and plan alternate routes.
The City of Kent thanks residents for their patience during this essential maintenance work.
