India’s 4x400m mixed relay team has won the gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championships. The Indian quartet of Rupal Chaudhary, Santosh Kumar, Vishal TK and Subha Venkatesan topped the tournament in South Korea with a timing of 3 minutes and 18 seconds.Of these, Rupal also won the silver medal in the Individual Women’s 400m earlier in the day.

Earlier, Rupal won silver medal in 400m and Pooja in 1500m. Yunus Shah won bronze medal in men’s 1500m. Decathlon, which consists of 10 games. Tejaswin Shankar won the silver medal for India. He finished second with a score of 7618 after the 10th regulation event.

He finished behind China’s Fei Xiang (7634) and ahead of Japan’s Keisuke Okuda (7602). Praveen Chitravel also won the silver medal in the men’s triple jump with a best performance of 16.90 meters
