The Customs and Border Police (CBP) has issued an advisory for passengers travelling to the US. People travelling to the US will be required to provide every single information about their luggage. For example, if you carry meat, fruits, vegetables or other items, you will have to give a list of them to CBP. Strict action can be taken against passengers who hide this information.CBP has issued a warning saying that it will be necessary to inform about meat, fruits, vegetables, plants, seeds, soil, any animal or things made from plants and animals if you take them to America. Failure to do so can result in fine or jail.
Along with this post, CBP has also shared a picture in which the dog is seen identifying a meat. The meat is a pig’s head, which is wrapped in aluminum foil. According to CBP rules, all passengers coming to the US will have to share information about the meat, fruits, vegetables, plants, animals, soil and seeds they bring with them. It is necessary to provide information about all the items included in the passenger’s bag, luggage and vehicle. After this, CBP officers will decide whether to let these items carry or not?
If a passenger violates the rules of CBP, he may have to pay a heavy fine. For hiding the information of the items in the bag, a fine of $ 1000 (about Rs 84,000) may have to be paid for the first time. A similar case was reported from JKF Airport in America in March this year. A TikToker who arrived in America from Singapore told the customs that there was no such thing in his bag. However, while leaving the airport, the border agent’s dog squad started sniffing his bag. When the bag was searched, a banana was found.
