Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has recently made a big revelation about his personal life in a podcast. For the first time, he spoke openly about his divorce with Dhanashree Verma and said that this decision was not taken suddenly, but it was being thought about for a long time. In fact, Chahal (Yuzvendra Chahal) said that both of them did not make this thing public until the final decision was taken. They did not want incomplete and false things to spread on social media.
He said, “We both agreed that until we are completely sure, we will not make it public.” During this, when he was asked if the reason behind showing the ‘picture perfect marriage’ on social media was to maybe set things right, Chahal honestly accepted it and said, “Yes, somewhere deep down there was a hope that maybe everything would be fine. That’s why we kept pretending.”
Chahal said that marriage is a compromise and when two people are unable to spend time together, the distance is bound to increase. He said that both of us (Yuzvendra Chahal-Dhanashree) were busy with our work and gradually our conversations and time together started decreasing.
