KENT, Wash. — The City of Kent is gearing up for a festive season with the return of Winterfest, a month-long series of holiday events designed to bring the community together in celebration.
City officials announced a lineup of activities that will run from late November through mid-December. The festivities begin on November 29 with Shop Small Saturday, encouraging residents to support local businesses during the holiday season.
On December 6, the community will gather for the Winterfest Tree Lighting Festival, a cherished annual tradition featuring holiday lights, family activities, and seasonal entertainment. The celebrations continue on December 7 with the Magical Strings Yuletide Concert, offering festive music and a warm holiday atmosphere.
Rounding out the month’s events is the Christmas Rush 5k/10k on December 13, inviting runners and walkers of all ages to participate in one of Kent’s most popular winter races.
