Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic has made it to the semi-finals of the men’s singles of the French Open 2025. In the quarter-finals, Djokovic made a brilliant comeback despite trailing in the first set. Apart from Djokovic, world number-1 Jannik Sinner has also reached the semi-finals.
24-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic defeated third seed Alexander Zverev 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 in four sets in the quarter-finals. With this win, Djokovic has registered his 101st victory at the French Open. 38-year-old Djokovic will now face world number-1 player Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals. There have been 8 matches between the two so far, in which the score is 4-4. Sinner has won the last three matches.
Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner has reached the semi-finals. He defeated Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik 6-1, 7-5, 6-0 in 1 hour 49 minutes in the quarter-finals. With this win, Sinner has registered his 19th consecutive win in the Grand Slam and he will now play against Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals.
American player Coco Gauff has defeated compatriot Madison Keys in the quarter-finals. She defeated Keys 6-7 (6), 6-4, 6-1. In the semi-finals, Gauff will face French wildcard Lois Boisson, who surprised everyone by defeating sixth seed Mirra Andreeva and third seed Jessica Pegula.
