Actors and actresses do everything to survive in Bollywood. Staying in Bollywood is more difficult than getting a film. Many actors have come and gone. Some worked hard and stayed there. Some did small jobs before entering the industry. Today we will tell you about one such actor who earned a lot of fame with his roles in films like Ranbir Kapoor’s Tamasha and Salman Khan’s Bharat.

However, despite working with superstars, there was a time in this actor’s life when he had to struggle to make ends meet. We are talking about Ishtiaq Singh. Despite graduating from the National School of Drama, the actor had to set up an omelette stall nearby to make ends meet. Ishtiaq Khan got his first break when he played the role of an English teacher in the film Fas Gaye Re Obama.

He then worked in Tamasha as Rajesh Autowala, Ludo as Inspector, Janhit Mein Jaari (as Purushottam), Anarkali of Aarah, Bharat as Chaurasia, Jolly LLB as Vasu (Rohtak lawyer), Sunny in Fryday and Amma Ki Boli as Munna. Despite working in some of the best films of his career, Ishtiaq Khan continues to be known as the ‘King of Comedy’. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, he talked about the different colors life has shown him.

The actor said, “In the evenings, some of us would set up an egg shop. I would also take contracts for college plays, organise music and dance performances. One day, one of my students came to my shop. He was shocked to see his ‘Sir’ selling eggs. I was very embarrassed. I didn’t know how I would show my face in school.” Ishtiaq Khan was born in a very simple family in a small town of Madhya Pradesh. He said, “All my friends knew that I had no money. They never asked me for money for tea even once.
