Israel is carrying out a vigorous campaign to root out Hamas in Gaza and therefore Israel has intensified attacks in Gaza. At least 79 Palestinians were killed and 211 others injured in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli massacre in the region, according to medical sources.
Local health officials have confirmed that the number of Palestinian deaths in Israeli attacks since October 2023 has risen to 53,901, while 122,593 people have been injured. Most of the victims are women and children.
The death toll since Israel resumed the fighting on March 18 after a two-month ceasefire has also risen to 3,747, with another 10,552 wounded, according to the same sources cited by a UN agency. Israeli army attacks continue in Gaza. 79 people were killed in these attacks on Saturday. The dead include nine children of a doctor killed in the air strike in Khan Younis city, while one child was injured. The children killed were aged between seven months and 12 years.
