Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who is leading a delegation, praised India’s surgical strike in Panama in 2016, then the Balakot air strike after the Pulwama attack in 2019 and recently Operation Sindoor.After this, Congress leader Udit Raj started targeting Tharoor and said that the previous UPA government had carried out surgical strikes on Pakistan 6 times.
Shashi Tharoor has responded to these comments of Udit Raj and said in clear words that he has very important work to do and it does not matter to him. Tharoor posted on X and wrote that he had not mentioned any war in his statement but had only spoken about India’s response to terrorist attacks.
He also said that critics twist his words. It doesn’t matter to him because he has more important work to do. “After a long and successful day in Panama I have to leave here at midnight and head to Bogota, Colombia in six hours. So I don’t really have time for that,” he wrote. But, still fuming about my alleged ignorance about Indian valour across the LoC, suffice to say, they are sick.”
