SPORTS & BUSINESSIt is difficult for Mohammad Shami to go on England tour: Not fully fit to bowl in Test cricket

It is difficult for fast bowler Mohammed Shami to go on the England tour. The Indian Test team for this tour is to be announced on Sunday, May 24. According to cricket website Cricinfo, Shami is not fully fit to bowl in Test cricket.

According to the report, the selectors are concerned about this. A member of the BCCI medical staff went to Lucknow to assess Shami’s fitness. Shami is currently bowling for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL. However, it could not be confirmed whether the selectors have taken any decision in this matter or not.

It is believed that the selectors will be cautious and will not include Shami in the Indian team until the medical staff reports him fully fit for the test. Shami was selected in the Indian team for the Champions Trophy. He took 9 wickets in 5 matches. Shami had an ankle surgery last year. After that, he started having pain in his right knee. Due to this, he was not selected for India’s tour of Australia. Shami played his last Test match against Australia in England.
