17-year-old Japleen Kaur Sabarwal, a resident of Palika Vihar, Ambala City, brought laurels to Ambala and her school by scoring 98 percent marks in the CBSE board class 10th examination. Japleen Kaur is a student of Mind Tree School, Panjokhra.

She has secured 488 marks out of 500. Japleen Kaur said that she had stopped using Facebook and Instagram before the exam. She prepared day and night by making a time table. She wants to become a software engineer when she grows up.

Japleen Kaur has given the credit of her achievement to her mother Damandeep Kaur and father Kamalpreet Sabarwal. She considers her elder sister Jasleen Kaur, who is a lawyer, as her role model. She has always passed the exams. Looking at her, she has decided to become a topper.

On this happy occasion, the school staff, family members and relatives also congratulated Japleen Kaur and the entire family.
