A major plane accident was averted in America on Saturday. According to information, a passenger plane had a problem in its landing gear before takeoff at Denver Airport in America. Due to which fire and smoke started coming out of it. After the problem, this flight had to be cancelled. As soon as the incident was reported, the officials present at the airport came into action. After this, the passengers were evacuated from the plane first. Officials said that one person suffered minor injuries during this security operation.
It is being told that there were a total of 179 passengers along with crew members on the plane. American Airlines flight AA-3023 operated by Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft was to fly to Miami. The passengers had boarded the plane and preparations for takeoff were being made. During this time, a problem was noticed in the landing gear. The airline’s statement has also come out regarding this incident. The company said that there was a maintenance related problem in the tyre.
A video of this entire incident has also surfaced. In the video, it can be seen that smoke is coming out from near the tyres of the plane. Panicked passengers are getting down from the plane. Due to this, the entire area was filled with smoke. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the plane reported a possible crash involving its landing gear while taking off from Denver Airport at 2.45pm local time.
