Amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following the military conflict last month, top military officials of the two countries shared their views during the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore. India’s Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan said Operation Sindoor is a lesson for our opponents.

The ongoing tensions between the two neighbours drew attention at the meeting of the top global defence forum, Channel News Asia reported on Sunday. India blamed Pakistan-based terror groups for the deadly attack on tourists in Pahalgam, while Pakistan denied any involvement.

Referring to Operation Sindoor, General Chauhan said that India has drawn a new Lakshman Rekha by not tolerating terrorism.
