‘PAK’s proposal for talks will not be accepted’, India says bluntly

POLITICS & LAWS'PAK's proposal for talks will not be accepted', India says bluntly

India’s clear answer to Pakistan, which has sent proposals for peace talks two-three times after Operation Sindoor, is that if there will be talks, they will be on two issues only. First, the list of terrorists that India had handed over to Pakistan a few years ago should be returned.

Secondly, talks will only be held on the return of Pakistan occupied Kashmir. This was stated by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal here. After suffering heavy losses in Operation Sindoor, Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif has expressed his desire to discuss every issue with India several times in recent times.

Jaiswal said that we have a clear stand on bilateral talks with Pakistan. Any talks will remain bilateral. There is no place for any third party. Also, terrorism and talks cannot go together. As far as terrorism is concerned, the only talks on that issue will be focused on returning the list of terrorists we had handed over to Pakistan. Apart from this, if there will be bilateral talks, then it will be only about vacating a part of Kashmir from Pakistan’s occupation.
