In the history of cricket, boundary catches have always had a special place in increasing the thrill of the game. These catches not only change the course of the match, but also force the spectators to jump from their seats. Some boundary catches have become so memorable that it is impossible to forget them. How can anyone forget Suryakumar Yadav’s catch in the T20 World Cup final, but now the rules for catches taken on the boundary are going to change.

With this, catches taken on the boundary will now be seen turning into sixes. MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) has decided to make a big change in its rule related to boundary catches, under which now those catches will be considered illegal in which the fielder will bounce the ball in the air more than once on the boundary line.

Let us tell you that the players standing on the boundary used to bounce the ball going in the air once while staying inside the boundary, then cross the boundary and bounce it in the air and catch it after coming inside the boundary, but now such catches will be considered illegal and the batsman will get runs.
