The aggressive attitude of the opposition against SIR in Bihar does not seem to be decreasing. The opposition created a ruckus on this issue on the third day in the Bihar Assembly. Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign is going on for the voter list in Bihar. Regarding this, a heated argument was seen between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav in the Bihar Assembly on Wednesday (July 23).

CM Nitish Kumar launched a scathing attack on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and said that when your parents were ruling, no one would come out even in the evening in the capital Patna. CM Nitish Kumar asked Tejashwi what RJD has done for Muslims till date. He said that I have worked for Muslims. Nitish told Tejaswi that you are still a child and you will not understand now.

After a huge uproar, the proceedings of the assembly were adjourned. After this, the opposition protested at the main gate of the assembly. Nitish Kumar and the Deputy CM entered from the other gate. As soon as the proceedings of the house started, the members of the opposition parties started creating a ruckus.
Opposition MPs reached near the Speaker’s chair and raised slogans and waved placards with anti-SIR slogans written on them. After the uproar, the House was adjourned till 2 pm.

On the other hand, while talking to the media outside the Parliament in Delhi, RJD MP Manoj Jha said that “Whatever we have to say, we are saying it here and will say it in the court as well. When this is done at the behest of a party, then democracy will bleed… Has the ruling party become the spokesperson of the Election Commission?…”
