PM Narendra Modi met the people injured in the plane crash at the Civil Hospital on Friday. He also met Ramesh Vishwas Kumar (Vishwash Kumar Ramesh), the only surviving passenger in this plane crash. Vishwas said that I did not jump from the plane but came out of the plane along with the seat.
Let us tell you that there were 242 people on board the flight, out of which 241 people have died. The Air India flight to London took off at around 1.38 pm. A few seconds after take off, the plane collided with the BJ Medical College hostel. A few hours after the accident, a video went viral on social media in which Vishwas Kumar, soaked in blood, was seen walking towards the ambulance.
Vishwash Kumar Ramesh is a 40-year-old British citizen who had come to visit his family in India. He was returning to the UK with his brother Ajay Kumar Ramesh (45). Vishwash was seated in 11A, while his brother was seated in a different row on the plane. Vishwash said, “Thirty seconds after takeoff there was a loud noise and then the plane crashed. It all happened very fast.”
When I regained consciousness after the accident, I saw dead bodies lying all around me. I was scared. I stood up and ran. There were pieces of the plane all around me. Someone caught me and put me in an ambulance and took me to the hospital.”
