Canada is going to make important changes in its citizenship law. Recently, a new citizenship law bill was introduced in the Parliament by Canadian Immigration Minister Lena Metlej Diab. It is known as C-3.

It is being told that this bill removes the existing limit on citizenship based on descent. It was introduced in the Canadian Parliament on Thursday. An attempt has been made in the new bill to correct the mistakes that are in the earlier law. Canada’s current citizenship law states that any Canadian citizen born outside Canada will not be able to pass on his citizenship to his child born abroad. In fact, this law was introduced in Parliament in the year 2009.

They cannot give citizenship to their child born or adopted outside the country. People are facing a lot of problems due to this law of Canada.
