Rajasthan Foundation Expands to U.S. with First Office Announcement in Seattle

USARajasthan Foundation Expands to U.S. with First Office Announcement in Seattle

In a significant milestone for the Indian diaspora in the Pacific Northwest, the Rajasthan Foundation announced the establishment of its first official office in the United States. The announcement was made during a vibrant cultural and business gathering hosted by the Rajasthani Association of Seattle America (RASA) at Jashn in Seattle.

The event coincided with the introduction of the traditional Rajasthani Thali experience to the region, symbolizing not just a culinary celebration but also the growing influence and unity of the Rajasthani community in North America.

Leaders, entrepreneurs, and community members gathered to celebrate Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage while exploring opportunities to deepen cultural and economic ties between India and the United States.

A key highlight of the event was the presence of Dr. Purnima Voria, President of the Rajasthan Foundation New York Chapter USA. She commended Apeksha Sharma and RASA board members for their efforts in strengthening the Rajasthani community across the Pacific Northwest.

Dr. Voria emphasized that the initiative represents a broader national movement aimed at uniting Rajasthani and Indian organizations across all 50 U.S. states. Through her leadership, the Foundation is promoting Rajasthan’s trade, investment opportunities, tourism, arts, and heritage on a global stage.

She highlighted that the expansion is not limited to a single city but is part of a larger vision to foster collaboration, cultural diplomacy, and business engagement between communities in both nations.

The event reflects a growing trend of regional Indian communities building influential platforms in the United States—blending tradition with entrepreneurship and global cooperation.

In her closing remarks, Dr. Voria expressed gratitude to Bhajan Lal Sharma for his leadership, and extended congratulations to Manisha Arora on her new leadership role in guiding the Foundation’s initiatives forward.

With this expansion, the Rajasthan Foundation is poised to strengthen its global identity through innovation, investment, and cultural diplomacy—further enhancing U.S.-India relations and inspiring diaspora communities worldwide.
