While the stock market is still struggling to reach its previous highest level, on the other hand gold is touching new heights every day. On Tuesday, the price of 10 grams of gold crossed Rs 1 lakh for the first time.
In Delhi bullion market, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold was reported to be Rs 101600 which is Rs 1800 more than the previous trading day. The biggest thing is that despite the record price of gold, its demand has not decreased.
Looking at the global situation, the shine of gold is expected to remain for the time being. The price of gold is decided at the international level. Gold has given a return of 30 percent in the last one year and 10 percent in the last one month. Last year on April 22, the price of gold per 10 grams was Rs 74,750 and on March 22 it was Rs 90,670. On the other hand, the Sensex is still far behind its highest level of 85,000.
