Terrorists attacked tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday (April 22) afternoon, in which 26 people, including two foreign tourists, were killed, while 20 people were injured.
The Resistance Front (TRF), the hit squad of Lashkar-e-Taiba, which has become the new synonym of terror in Kashmir, has taken responsibility for the attack. After the terrorist attack, the government is in action. At the same time, Indian Army soldiers are conducting search operations at many places in Jammu and Kashmir to catch the terrorists.
After attending the all-party meeting called by the central government, Lok Sabha leader and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that everyone condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The opposition has given full support to the government to take any action.
A special flight arranged by the Maharashtra government reached Mumbai carrying tourists from the state who had visited Jammu and Kashmir. Thane resident Manish said, “I had gone for a week, but due to the situation, we returned in 3 days. I was with my family and we were scared.”
