TV actress Hina Khan has condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and has made an appeal to the countrymen. Hina herself is a Kashmiri and was holidaying in her hometown for some time. Hina, who is undergoing treatment for cancer, had gone to her hometown in Kashmir on a break.
She has returned to Mumbai amidst the Pahalgam attack and has written a long post and expressed deep views. Hina Khan expressed her condolences to the victims and also appealed to the people and apologized to them. Hina wrote in the post, “Condolences. Black day. Tearful eyes. Condemnation, call for compassion. If we fail to accept the reality then nothing matters.
If we don’t really accept what happened, especially as Muslims, then everything else will be just talk. It’s simple, a few tweets and that’s it.”
Hina Khan further added, “The way this was done by brutal, inhuman, brainwashed terrorists who claim to be Muslims is horrific. I can’t even imagine if a Muslim was forced to renounce his religion at gunpoint and then killed. It breaks my heart. As a Muslim, I want to apologise to all my fellow Hindus and fellow Indians. As an Indian and a Muslim, I am heartbroken by the people who lost their lives. I cannot forget what happened in Pahalgam.”
