On the recommendations of the Home Ministry, the government has taken this decision for spreading inflammatory false, misleading statements and misinformation against India, its army and security agencies. 16 Pakistani YouTube channels including Dawn News, Samaa TV, Geo News have been banned.
Sixteen Pakistani YouTube channels have been blocked for allegedly broadcasting inflammatory and communally sensitive content as well as false and misleading statements against India, its military and security agencies, officials said on Monday.
The government has also issued a warning to the BBC for calling the terrorists “militants” in its reporting on the Pahalgam tragedy.After the Pehlga attack, India has been taking rapid decisions against Pakistan. Earlier, in the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India had decided to stop the Indus Water Treaty.
