In another scam, the troubles of former Delhi Deputy CM and Education Minister Manish Sisodia and former PWD Minister Satyendra Jain seem to be increasing. In the latest case, the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) has registered an FIR against both the leaders in the Rs 2,000 crore classroom scam case.

The Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) has taken strict action following allegations of large-scale corruption in the construction of classrooms in schools during the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi. The ACB has registered a corruption case against former Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia and former Public Works Minister Satyendra Jain. The case is related to the alleged Rs 2000 crore scam in the construction of 12,748 classrooms and buildings.

The classrooms were built as Semi-Permanent Structures (SPS), which have a life of 30 years, but the cost was the same as RCC (pucca) classrooms, which have a life of 75 years.
