It is believed that Pakistan has hastily called a special session of the Parliament regarding this. Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari took a big decision on Saturday midnight and called an emergency session of the Parliament (National Assembly) at 5 pm on Monday.

This meeting will be held on Monday at 5 pm in the Parliament House in Islamabad. The President of Pakistan in an official statement said that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President has summoned the National Assembly to meet on Monday, the 5th May, 2025 at 5:00 pm at Parliament House, Islamabad.

Leaders of all parties will be present in this meeting. Now it remains to be seen what will be the stand of Imran Khan’s party PTI in this meeting of Parliament. Whether PTI supports Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif or not. Imran Khan, who is in jail, had issued a statement saying that he is ready to support the government against India.
