ENTERTAINMENTCompetition to make a film on Operation Sindoor!: More than 50 producers applied for the title

On 7 May, the Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor on 9 terrorist hideouts in 7 cities of Pakistan. Now there is a competition in Bollywood for this name. According to reports, around 50 filmmakers have applied for registration of the Operation Sindoor title. Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) president B.N. Tiwari has confirmed this.

President B.N. Tiwari said that as soon as the news of Operation Sindoor broke, dozens of film producers started contacting to register this name. He said that calls started coming from the morning of the 7th. There is a race to make a film based on this. So far, more than 15 producers have applied for this title in IMPA alone. Many applications must have been sent to the other three film organizations as well. In total, 40-50 people are in the race to get this title.

Regarding the rule of getting the title, B.N. Tiwari said that when many producers apply simultaneously for the same title, the rule says that the one who applies first is given priority. He said that only one person will get the title of Operation Sindoor. Others can make changes to it like ‘Desh Ka Sindoor’, ‘Insaaf Ka Sindoor’, or ‘Operation Sindoor: Ek Sachi Kahani’ etc., but the pure title ‘Operation Sindoor’ will be given to only one person.
