‘Will not back down on nuclear rights’, Iran’s clear statement to America

POLITICS & LAWS'Will not back down on nuclear rights', Iran's clear statement to America

On Sunday, talks were held again between the US and Iran in Muscat, the capital of Oman, on the issue of the use of nuclear power. Under the mediation of Oman, both the parties have agreed to continue the talks, the next date for the talks will be announced soon.

These talks are being held with the objective of preventing Iran from making a nuclear bomb. It is believed that the level of uranium refinement that Iran has increased in the last several years can help it in making a nuclear bomb.

As tensions between Iran, Israel and the US escalated on this issue, an initiative has been taken to end the apprehensions through dialogue. Due to this, the fourth round of talks took place between Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US President’s special envoy Steve Witcalf in Muscat on Sunday.

Araghchi said, this time the talks were more serious and without any hesitation. But no conclusion has been reached yet. We have put forward our expectations in a more clear manner. Meanwhile, Iran’s uranium purification process continues as before.
