Israel is continuously attacking Hamas targets in Gaza. More than 50 people were killed in overnight air strikes in Khan Younis, Gaza. Heavy bombardment continued for the second consecutive night. Many bodies were seen being taken to the morgue of Nasir Hospital in Khan Younis.
Those killed included a journalist from Qatar Television Network AI Arabic Television. At least 80 Palestinians were killed and dozens others injured in Israeli air strikes in Gaza, Palestinian medical sources said. According to Gaza-based health officials, the Gaza European Hospital, the only hospital providing medical follow-up care to cancer patients in the enclave, recently closed completely due to Israeli attacks.
Officials said in a press statement that the Israeli attacks “caused significant damage to infrastructure, such as sewage lines, damage to internal departments and roads leading to the hospital were destroyed.” Israel resumed a large-scale military operation in Gaza on March 18, ending a two-month ceasefire. Since then, 2,876 Palestinians have been killed and more than 7,800 injured, according to health officials in Gaza.
