India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra threw the javelin 90.23 meters in the Doha Diamond League. He scored 88.44 meters in the first attempt, while the second throw was invalid. Then Neeraj made the best throw of his career in the third attempt.
Earlier, his best throw was 89.94m, which he achieved in the 2022 Diamond League. However, Neeraj finished second in the Doha Diamond League. Julian Weber of Germany finished first with a throw of 91.06m and Peters Anderson of Grenada finished third with 85.64m.
Weber scored 91.06 meters in his last attempt. Apart from Neeraj, Gulveer Singh (13:24.32 minutes) finished ninth in the 5000 meter race. At the same time, Parul Chaudhary (9:13.39 minutes) finished sixth in the women’s 3000 meter steeplechase.
